The Romanian Environment Association – 1998 (ARM) is a professional and employers’ organisation established in view of consolidating and representing the interests of specialists and companies operating in the field of environmental protection

ARM continues the activity of the National Association of Environmental Managers and Auditors established in 1998, with new organisational structures and objectives, updated within the national and international framework.

Members
Our association brings together specialists from public environmental authorities, central and local public administration, researchers, professors and specialists developing activities in the field of environmental protection, as well as economical operators whose activities are directly connected to this field.

• Individuals – specialists from organisations, authorities, companies which develop activities relating to environment protection

• Experts, independent experts – certified natural persons, professors, specialists who can provide services and consultancy in this field

• Legal persons – economical operators, research institutes, universities developing specific activities in the field of environmental protection

Main objectives

• setting up an institutional framework for internal communication and dialogue between all members

• strengthening the market for environmental services relating to consultancy, professional training, design, infrastructure etc

• improvement of the legal framework by cooperating with public authorities in order to establish the means for the proper and effective presentation of the activity of all association’s members

• promoting research and stimulating the integration of its results in the environmental protection field activities

• increasing the professional competencies of its members through qualification, continuous professional training, graduate and post-graduate specialisation
